Saranya
Saranya, born in Tamilnadu where Bharatanatyam originated, nurtured her passion for dance from a young age. Her journey began in Nagercoil, where her interest blossomed into a profound commitment to Bharatanatyam. She completed her integrated bachelor’s degree in fine arts with first-class honors and a gold medal from Kalai Kaveri College of Fine Arts, Bharathidasan University, Tamilnadu.

Story
Saranya embarked on her career as a Bharatanatyam teacher and part-time lecturer at Kalai Kaveri College of Fine Arts. Her dedication led her to earn a master’s degree in Bharatanatyam with distinction. Throughout her career, she has also trained in Mohiniyattam and Kuchipudi, expanding her expertise in classical dance. Saranya’s journey includes performances across India, Germany, Netherlands, Sri Lanka, and Singapore, where she showcased Bharatanatyam’s elegance on over 500 stages.
Mission
In 2014, Saranya moved to Ireland, driven by a deep passion to share Bharatanatyam’s cultural richness with the Indian diaspora and global audiences. She founded Anugraha Bharatanatyam School with a mission to preserve and propagate this ancient tradition. Saranya’s commitment extends beyond teaching; she has lectured at the University of Limerick and continues to inspire through performances and fusion dances, enriching Ireland’s cultural landscape.
